An odd spring for Devils: New Jersey will be outside the playoffs for 1st time since 1996
NEWARK, N.J. - This spring is very different for the New Jersey Devils. For the first time since 1996 they're not going to the playoffs. The Devils' post-season streak ended at 13 years Saturday night when they lost 3-1 to the Montreal Canadiens.
