Stars halt Avalanche to stay in playoff hunt
The Dallas Stars beat the Colorado Avalanche 4-2 in a must-win game to keep their playoff hopes alive on Thursday. The ninth-place Stars have won three straight and trail the Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks and Anaheim Ducks by two points with two games remaining for all three teams.
